The police's seizing of The Pirate Bay's servers was probably the most ridiculously act of nonsense that has occured in a very long time in this beautiful state of Sweden. My bet is that the poor sods from the police had no idea what they actually were doing or had any idea what file sharing is or how it works. They just took whatever looked like a computer, nevermind that in doing so they also took down the webpages and servers from legal businesses. Yay.

When one of the suspects from The Pirate Bay crew was apprehended and questioned by the police he broke down. So much in fact, that he admitted that he was guilty. Of shooting sweden's former PM Olof Palme. I have laughed very much since hearing about that little story.

Tomas Bodström, judiciary minister of Sweden, is cornered and has to defend himself from accusations of minister-ruling (something which is forbidden according to swedish law) and further accusations that he or his department ordered the seizing of the servers, in turn ordered by the US government. Or even worse, from private companies in Hollywood. So instead of boasting and show himself like a big boy he is in quite a bit of trouble. Suits him right, socialist as he is.

The DA who oversaw the police operation is cornered and has got quite a few reports on his sorry ass too, so the actions are going to be investigated by the ombudsman in judicial questions. So instead of boasting and show himself like a big boy he is himself a subject of an investigation.

All the organizations and people and companies cheering at the closing down of TPB yesterday, who today can see that the site is up and running again. Talk about having their cheer get stuck in their throats.

Because really... think about it people. There isn't going to be any big movie company going into bancruptcy because of the file sharing. How many DVDs are sold each day worldwide? And Metallica and all other artists who are crying about downloading, they aren't exactly living on the streets. As a fellow musician, I would never have had my music available or been able to let others listen to my music unless there were downloads from the Internet. I do not make much money on my music, at the moment none, but I do not make music for the money, I work for that. No, the music is created because I love music. And the same cry was prevalent when the tape recorder came into being. How many has taped a radio show or music from the local radio station when they were kids? Did Tomas Bodström do that I wonder? The same slogan that copying would kill music and VHS would kill movies. Yeah, right.

All people involved in the closing of TPB are today standing with their pants down. Because the site is up and running. Tomas Bodström or the DA, how much of the taxpayers' money did this totally useless act cost? To me it is enough for you to leave your jobs and issue an apology. Wow, must you feel silly today...

Long time since I wrote something here now. Been hectic for a few months with a new job and all that.

Sweden's prime minister's right (left?) hand, Lars Danielsson took a time out yesterday. Private issues as stated by the press release. Private issues indeed. A rumour concerning his whereabouts on the 26th of december 2006 has been a media explosion recently. And it all started with Lars Danielsson not remember what he did, and giving different versions about what he did. The rumour about him being with a lover may be false. However, as long as the government is keeping the logs about who entered Lars Danielsson's work that day secret due to national security the rumours are going to persist. England has had similar scandals with people at high positions with lovers quite recently so nobody is going to convince me that swedish men are any different. And if the rumour is false, why is the government trying to cover up the truth with such authority? Something is fishy within the government. Especially since it is an election year.

Let's say the lover-rumour is false... then something else, far worse for the government, is the real truth.

It is time for the people of Sweden to wake up and smell the old socks of this corrupt government. Not that I have much faith, the socialists have been very good at inducing people in a coma. Just give them some state benefits from stolen money (yes, that's tax I'm talking about) and people will shut up. Sadly.

Marita Ulvskog should probably keep her mouth shut

The socialdemocrat Marita Ulvskog lashes out against the swedish business world. She accuses them of intentionally waiting with investments in Sweden to alter the election result later this year. She "knows" they are. Tonight she had to back away from it since she couldn't present any evidence. But she still thinks the business world is trying to alter the result.

The same day, Forbes presents a survey about the world's best countries to invest in. Denmark is number 1 followed by Finland, Iceland, USA and Great Britain. Sweden? Number 18.

So what can I say? Tough luck Marita.

The french president Chirac said that his country might use nuclear weapons against any country performing terrorist attacks against France. I can't help anticipating the complete or near complete silence of this threat in the swedish media and among left wingers.

When Bush made similar threats it was both heavily reported and naturally condemned.

I hope to be surprised, but I don't think Chirac's statement will get much notice.

Not often I agree or find something that a conservative says to be funny and witty. Göran Hägglund, the christian democratic leader in Sweden, said one thing though that was both funny and witty. He said, in reference to the social democratic election slogan, that "Everyone will tag along... No matter if they want it or not" into the world of the social democratic party. So true. Gefle Student Union to leave the socialist SFS

This just in! The Gefle Student Union has finally taken the step to leave the organisation SFS. Not only that, the union is still against the law which states that a student MUST be a member of a student union, even if he/she doesn't want to.

A glorious day! A happy day! The best day!

For those who don't know this, I have been both vice president and president for Gefle Student Union and fought for 6 long years to both leave SFS and to be against the previous mentionesd law. My motion about taking a stand against the ridiculous law was accepted 3-4 years ago and now finally, have Gefle Student Union taken the decision to leave SFS (3 years after I left active duty but still...).

Åke Green, a priest who said that homosexuals is a cancer on society was aquitted by the swedish supreme court. Left wing media and people get upset. The question is why they are upset. Green's sermon was not something I would want to listen to. But when the media and socialists in general get upset it gets ridiculous. These left wing moralists can listen for hours to bands like Doktor Kosmos who sings that "capitalist, now you should die" but if someone says things that they don't like, those persons should be prosecuted. That is the double standard of socialists.

Instead, the left wingers should be happy Green wasn't sentenced, now they can listen to equally abhorrent socialist propaganda while they get upset that free speech is upheld.

Hehe, I was challenged by to come up with 5 slogans on the social democratic party's own slogan "Everyone must join, it's that simple" (Alla ska med, så enkelt är det).

Here are my versions (in english no less).

- All educated people should put up new curtains for the elderly, it's that simple.

- Everyone should go to univerity, so we can manipulate the unemployment rate, it's that simple.

- Everyone must pay their personal taxes, except the members of government, it's that simple.

- Everyone should cower to the allmighty European Union, it's that simple.

The last one is not so much against the socialdemocrats as it is against the Left, particularly the Left's youth leader Ida Gabrielsson, one of the most clueless people to grace our earth:

- I don't know anything, it's that simple.

And yes Ida, the liberals did indeed push for emancipation and universal suffrage. Ida should retake her history classes. Then again, all communists should.

Elina Åberg, the leader of The Green Party's youths said a few days ago that she supports the Iranian terrorgroup People's Mujahedin who according to her works for the liberation of the people. Nice going. Now she turns 180 degrees and says she was "misinformed, due to being young and less experienced."

It is good that she takes back her previous statement and says it was a mistake. Unfortunately, veneration of terrorists isn't uncommon among the young Green and Left party activists... Nor among the adults either, just remember Åsa Linderborg.

Reunion, student union

Went to some kind of reunion thingy last night. The student union house in Gävle elebrated its 10 years anniversary. The food was okay, as was the whole shabang. Karin, Johan and my speech was made up on the spot. As usual I managed to say some funny things... And I am very virile! Great fun to meet all oldies from the student union days. And I'm happy the torch of fighting SFS, and hopefully leave that damn organisation, is still alight by parts of the current union administration.

Had finally a good night's sleep last night. Have been some hectic days but it is now a bit more mellow.

There are a lot of whining on various message boards about a professional gamer named Wendel (nickname Fatal1ty) who has his name on a range of different computer equipment. Lately, a soundcard from Creative. I've seen a motherboard before with his promotional name on it. People whine like small children because of this and say to others not to buy it because Wendel shouldn't get any money. *Deeper sigh* As if the same people wouldn't do the same as Wendel if a company approached them and wanted to market a product with their names on it.

I have spent a large part of today with some new cables and trying to connect my PC digitally to my TV through DVI-HDMI connection. Well, let me just say that I have had much easier and more pleasurable experiences with other connections and technical equipment. Since the PC in on the TV through analog works it is not such a big deal. I'm just wondering if I should send the cables back.

Anyway.

Nothing much is happening on the political scene. The social-liberal party had their congress this weekend and I am left wondering where the liberals all went. During the past 8 years they have gone into some kind of conservatism-loop and don't seem to even realize it. Basically, they have taken away all that is good about social-liberalism (well, there are a few here and there) and replaced it with a sort of new conservatism that would make the US republicans proud. Of course, in the past they have bordered on being all out socialistic but the path to conservatism is not any better. But at least it is better they take this route than further left. That would have really been a tragedy.

And what is the moderate party (usually the conservatives in swedish politics if you disregard the christian democrats) doing in the meantime? They move further left! After Reinfeldt took over this party is now the new labour party! Please. I was active in the moderate party for a long time and for a long time they were the only ones who had a decent economic policy. However, now when that is gone I no longer have a party I can call my own.

I really should tell the swedish IRS that my apartment is hereby no longer under swedish rule and form the Free Land of Ricoland.

SFS och Kristoffer Burstedt famlar i det politiska korrekthetens träsk

Svar till Kristoffer Burstedt, en av regeringens knähundar, och hans artikel den 19 augusti i Arbetarbladet.

Nej, inte speciellt mycket kan skönjas som nytt hos Sveriges Förenade Studentkårer (SFS). Ibland blir man riktigt förundrad, om än inte förvånad över hur lite som ändras. SFS föreslår att man tar bort 50-procentsmålet "tillfälligt". Märk ordet tillfälligt. Förutsättningen skulle alltså vara att pengarna används till att förbättra kvaliteten. Om de pengarna nu inte skulle göra detta skulle Burstedt alltså jublandes glad acceptera dessa nya platser i alla fall. Jaha, det var ju lysande. När gjorde man då detta? I ett pressmeddelande den 18 augusti, samma dag som min debattartikel publicerades (min artikel skrevs en vecka tidigare). Tror Kristoffer Burstedt att jag kan förutse framtiden? En egotrippad person skulle kunna få för sig att SFS pressmeddelande var en reaktion på ett debattinlägg från en fd kåraktiv.

Bara för att göra Kristoffer glad tog jag mig en titt på SFS pressmeddelanden samt debattartiklar, bland annat på DN och kunde lugnt konstatera att man där säger att fördubblingen av antalet platser de senaste 15 åren varit positivt. Kristoffer hävdar att SFS "kraftfullt tagit avstånd från regeringens blinda rusning mot utbyggnad". Detta kraftfulla avstånd lyser med sin frånvaro. Istället lindar man in sig, som en god knähund, i brasklappar och politisk korrekthet. Precis som nu när man "tillfälligt" vill stoppa 50-procentsmålet. Men man anser samtidigt att fördubblingen av antalet studenter är positivt. Ja oj vilket kraftigt avståndstagande.

Burstedt borde istället klart och tydligt markera mot regeringen att det är totalt vansinne och en arbetsmarknadspolitisk (för att inte tala om en valtaktisk) åtgärd att expandera högskolan ytterligare UTAN en massa omskrivningar, bortförklaringar och undantag. Först då kan jag ta din kritik på allvar, som det är nu famlar du i det politiska korrekthetens träsk. Och sjunker allt djupare.

När Burstedt säger att jag slänger iväg rallarsvingar har han i alla fall rätt, det är enkelt att göra det med en så enkel och tacksam måltavla som SFS, en organisation som fortfarande står för tvångsanslutning, därigenom tvivelaktig demokratisyn och flumilum åsikter. Där är intet nytt under solen, ens för en fd kåraktiv.

Sossarnas dubbelmoral

I TVs morgonsoffa sitter Tomas Östros och jäser samt slår sig för bröstet över att, enligt honom, vara bäst i Europa på att bekämpa arbetslösheten. Jag skulle nog säga att han är bäst på att manipulera bort arbetslösheten istället. Ett förslag som ligger honom varmt om hjärtat efter hans tid som utbildningsminister är att skicka ungdomar in i högskolan. Då räknas de ju inte som arbetslösa längre, i alla fall inte över valet. Regeringens mål om att hälften av alla personer ska ha påbörjat en högskoleutbildning innan 25 års ålder passar ju bra som svepskäl att putsa arbetslöshetssiffror och dessutom låter det ju bra.

Det stora problemet är dock att de senaste tidernas explosion av högskoleutbildade inte står i paritet med resurtilldelningen till högskolor och universitet. Ivrigt påhejade av Sveriges Förenade Studentkårer, regeringens knähund i frågan, har man utökat antalet platser men inte lyckats åstadkommit en motsvarande ökning av antalet lärare som skulle behövas. Bland annat. För några veckor sedan kom så ytterligare förslag om ökningar av antalet högskoleplatser, samtidigt som det framkom rapporter att arbetslösheten bland akademiker bara ökar. Många av de som nu påbörjar sin utbildning om några veckor kommer att gå ut i arbetslöshet om trenden fortsätter. Detta är inte hållbart. Antingen bör man dra på rejält när det gäller resurstilldelningen till högskolorna, minska antalet platser eller erkänna som det är: att det är enbart ett sätt för regeringen att manipulera arbetslöshetssiffrorna inför valet.

Åter till Östros. Han grät verkligen krokodiltårar när han anklagade moderaterna att vilja sänka lönerna. Man riktigt såg hur han darrade på underläppen. Samtidigt föreslår hans chef Persson att arbetslösa ska hänga upp gardiner. I offentlig regi förstås. Det är märkligt att man från sossehåll skriker när man föreslår sänkt skatt för hushållsnära tjänster men det går tydligen utmärkt att utnyttja arbetslösa för det. Fast det är klart, Godsherre Persson bygger nu en ny villa för 15 miljoner. Han behöver väl hjälp med att hänga upp sina gardiner.

I need to go to bed a bit earlier because this is not sustainable. I'm so tired. And it doesn't help a lot that work is boring as hell. Only three and a half weeks left, then I can turn the daily cycle on its head again for a while. Yay. Insomnia here I come.

I'm happy that Nina seemingly are doing much better. At least that is how it sounds, but how it really is only she knows. I hope her trip to NYC soon is going allright. If only she could be convinced she should put lyrics on her songs and sing to them as well. Her voice is awesome. :) If you read this, Nina: I love you.

Not much has really happened that has prompted me to write a blog entry for some time. Government in general and in sweden in particular sucks all the same as before. Åsa Linderborg, the little communist bitc... errrr, woman... is still the most pathetic person in the world today. Socialists in general is as ignorant of everything as always. Sometimes the accusation that individualist anarcho-capitalists want to sit on top of a mountain excluding the rest of the world (atomism) isn't such a bad idea. It would mean you would get away from the socialist idiots.

I'm in search for a new TV, the one I have isn't cutting it. If anyone has a good LCD or plasma TV suggestion feel free to contact me.

The recent terror-attacks in different parts of the world makes one wonder what the left-wingers actually want.

Several left-wing columnists in Sweden within the Swedish media, often in the biggest tabloid Aftonbladet, are having a field day spewing their deep hatred against freedom in general and the US in particular. They are even showing a disgusting "understanding" for the terrorists. According to the left-wingers' all the terrorists want is to get the US out of the muslim world. And we all know what a moral ideal that is right? What these "useful idiots" forget is the fact that these terrorists don't want democracy. They don't want freedom. They want a new Taliban regime. That is what the left-wingers are supporting in their headless support for the terrorists. The socialists see the Talibans as a better choice than the US. Please.

Policy: Shoot to Kill

It has been proven that the man shot dead at Stockwell Underground Station didn't have anything to do with the suicide bombers from thursday. It has been speculated for several days now that the police in England has a policy to shoot a suspect in the head, basically to kill, to prevent a suicide bomber from setting off a bomb. This has been supported by the police chief Ian Blair.

During normal circumstances I would be the first to aggressively criticize the state police having a policy where they are shooting to kill. The recent weeks have shown that this is not normal circumstances however. But this doesn't stop left-wing people to only see the failures of the law and put the focus on that, totally disregarding what led up to it. Of course, the shooting of an innocent man must be investigated, but the blame must be put to the terrorists that the police must take such drastic measures. In this instance, I am really convinced that the police is responding to the initiation of violence from the terrorists. Never thought I'd say that but that policy would probably never been adopted unless the terrorists had struck London.

By putting the focus on the shooting, the left-wing people can happily and easily forget the mass murders from the 7/7 and the previous in Spain and New York and now in Egypt. Åsa Linderborg is one of those. She is more interested in putting the blame on the USA than those who actually are blowing up innocent people. She disgusts me. Plain and simple. I would call her a bitch if that didn't mean using personal attacks. "We must understand the terrorists!" My ass. If she wants to understand massmurder it's her prerogative. People who value human life condemn massmurders instead.

Apparently, the swedish state owned regime-radio reported that the critics are more numerous than those who supports the policy of the British police. The left-wingers in the media never cease to surprise in their ignorance. Even if SkyNews' polls aren't scientific they show that it is more probable an overwhelming majority of the english public supports the policy. Also, the e-mails and text messages coming into the Sky News Centre show support for the policy. Again, a reason why I have stopped to listen to the regime radio and regime TV. They lie to us. But that wasn't news.

Är det inte lite märkligt, att terrorister bombar mål i Egypten, ett land som inte ens deltog i Irak-kriget? Men eftersom det var mot turismen så jublar du väl. För vad gör några massmord dig, när terroristernas mål är så ädelt och nobelt som att få bort USA, den stora satan, ut ur mellan östern. Ja just det ja, vi ska ju förstå och känna sympati för dessa mördare enligt dig. Offren får ju skylla sig själva eftersom dom som turister invaderade mellan östern. Usch. För att inte tala om de egypter som strök med, de är ju svikare för den goda saken: att få ut USA ur mellan östern. Jag hoppas du är nöjd och glad för de bomber som exploderade i Egypten, för du förstår ju dessa massmördare så väl.

Isn't it odd that terrorists bomb places in Egypt, a country that did not even take part of the Iraq-war? But since it was against the tourist industry one can imagine you are celebrating. For what is a couple of mass murders to you, when the goals of these terrorists are so noble and good: to get USA, the big Satan, out of the middle east. Oh yeah, that's right, we should understand and feel sympathy for these murderers according to you. The victims have themselves to blame. They, as tourists, invaded the middle east. Not to mention the egyptians who died, they are traitors against the good cause: to get USA out of the middle east. I hope you are satisfied and happy for the bombs which exploded in Egypt, because you understand these massmurderers so well.

Two swedish newspapers have done it again. Aftonbladet and DN are probably the most retarded newspapers today. We can only hope that those who work for those have in some way kind of collectively suffered a mental breakdown due to the heatwave in Sweden.

Aftonbladet published a column where they in short said: The terrorist bombings in London is making Blair to lose face.

How utterly stupid can one become? When 100's of people have been injured all they can think of is how Blair is embarassed. Aftonbladet's reporters and employees should be the ones being embarassed at how little they care about human life when they can nail a politician they don't like.

And DN links the terrorist acts to Iraq just like a good little idiot. I would like to remind the senile people at DN that the terrorist attacks from bin Ladin et al began long before Iraq and Afghanistan. In fact, the war on Afghanistan and Iraq was mostly a response to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. But memory seems to be a lacking quality for DN's employees.

Put the blame on murders on the murderers. Or do you think that a murder victim is to blame for being murdered??

Edit: Fortunately, there are experts with a better view than the "experts" of these two newspapers.

What Anders Hellner (terrorexpert) is saying is that the terrorist attacks doesn't have to do solely with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan I'm surprised Aftonbladet actually published these answers. Of course, perhaps they didn't check them before publishing them. Thanks to Anders for putting the foot down and showing how wrong people are who thinks that today's terrorism started with the war in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Just heard that a very non-pleasant woman by the name of Ireen von Wachenfeldt finally decided to resign as the president of a feminist group called ROKS. Her saying in a TV documentary that "Men are animals" has really hurt the feminist movement in Sweden. Of course, I should be happy, because I really dislike her and most of the feminist movement. However, I'm sorry that the important work that many are doing in the name of equality gets hampered by a few nutcases.

Saying things like "Men are animals" is not in favor for equality, it is the direct opposite. It is a sentence born out of hatred and are just further widening the gap between men and women in society as it becomes something of a gender war. Hopefully something good will come out from the resignation of von Wachenfeld, because she did nothing good for the women in today's society.

Live 8

So it is finally the time for Live 8, one of the most haussed events this year, and one that doesn't deserve the attention it gets. Let me say this right away before you jump to any conclusions: I think that Geldorf et. al. have a very noble purpose with this.

However, there is one major problem, one that can be described both on a national as well as an international level. I'm talking about the push for more and more and even more aid to Africa's countries. On a national level parallells can be drawn to the shouting of left-wingers for more and more and even more governmental subsidies to perfectly healthy people instead of arguing for politics that will let people out from the dependency of social security benefits, governmental subsidies and social monetary aid and into real jobs.

I'm now going to say something that is close to cursing in a catholic church. Pumping up international aid to Africa's countries will not help them. Make poverty history? Sure, but then you have to stop the pointless aid, the opposite of what Geldorf and his cronies are trying to brainwash people. Why you might ask? Just compare Africa's economic development with South East Asia, Far East Asia and Japan since the second world war. In left-wing litterature a lot of Africa's poverty is attributed to colonialism. This is not the case, because then the south east asian economies should be far less developed than they are now. No, the reason is the UN and the left-wing policies of African nations, where protectionism and socialism have been prevalent. And the dependency on foreign aid. What Asia has done instead is the reverse, they have opened up and pushed a more liberal economic policy. Africa has got more aid but has a stagnant economy and poverty, Asia has got less aid and a better economic growth. Now, all is not well in Asia either, personal freedom and democracy are not always at good standards there but they are often much better than they are in Africa. What Africa needs is not more aid but less and loads of economic reforms as well as political to become more capitalistic. And now I can hear the left-wingers' heads pop a vein when they read this. Well, take a look at China and India who get about 1 dollar in aid per capita per year. Compare this to Ghana which gets 44 dollars per capita and year. Which countries have got the most rapid economic development in the world? China and India (and I am now purposefully disregarding the democracy aspect which is another story). If aid is required for poverty eradication and economic development it's strange that Ghana and Zambia (54 dollars per capita per year in aid) are not the two economic locomotives today.

For you swedish readers you can have a look at http://www.timbro.se/bokhandel/pdf/TBP03.pdf which will put the issue of aid into a whole new light. So Bono and Geldorf can shout as much as they want, they still hold the very reason for Africa's poverty as the solution.

The same goes for social security benefits and governmental subsidies. What we need is not more or higher levels of benefits, it is progressive politics which will promote more real jobs. But try to convince the socialists and the other statists about that...

Musings... and why anti-discrimination laws should be abolished

It's the 1st of July and that is a date where a lot of bills and regulations proposed and decided by the swedish state become laws. Like we haven't got too many laws already. Some are completely new but most are revisions of old laws. One such revision was done on the law against discrimination, in which it is now illegal to discriminate based on gender. The result is some ridiculous albeit known effects in people's everyday lives. It is now no longer possible to charge less money to cut a man's hair than a woman's, or possible for taxi-companies to charge conciderably less for women riding a cab alone late at night. At first glance it can be percieved as quite sensible. To me it is just another way for the state to reach its disgusting fingers into the private domain and to take away even more liberty from individuals.

In fact, I am against all forms of laws against discrimination because they always tend to be counter-productive. Discrimination imposed by the government has brought injustice and restricted freedom everywhere. Anti-discrimination laws enforced by the government are the reverse side of the exact same coin, and will ultimately create the same injustices and restricted freedom. When universities admits some people based on their background of being born outside of the nordic countries (of course it is supposed to counteract discrimination in the minds of statists) but it is in effect discriminate against people who were born in the nordic countries. If you impose laws against free prices of services you ultimately restrict the freedom of two or more people and their right to trade and settling their own agreement.

I oppose any government attempts to regulate private discrimination, including choices and preferences, in employment, housing, and privately owned businesses. The right to associate, or not associate, is a basic human right that the government cannot take away. It is not the job of the government or the state to tell us what morals should be followed or not, that should be up to each individual.

Welcome to my blog. This will be a place for me to get out some anger and frustration out to the world at large. And a few other oddities of course.

My blog is is not going to become a very personal one, it will be a place for me to primarily try and subjectively write opinions and craziness on different topics and issues. One little note here and there might be personal but I do not expect it to become the norm. I'm sure you will not go bonkers if I happen to write a love note to Nina for example.

Anyway, let me right now tell you who reads this that the views and opinions published here WILL be rather extreme in some cases. If you can't stomach that sort of writings, then please feel free to stop read now.

Some of you might wonder why I use english here. It is to make sure that all my friends abroad also will be able to read this. Besides, most Swedes have english as their second language anyway.
